Please be sure to check in at registration day-of the event to sign important waivers.

100% of your donation directly supports our two causes. 90% is given to KC PAWS, which is immediately put to work helping KC PAWS with expenses including veterinary costs for spay, neuter, and bigger medical expenses that come with dogs rescued from neglect and abuse.
As you know, Paul was an organ donor hero. We contribute 10% of funds raised to support the life saving work of Midwest Transplant Network. -
Every dollar counts! By choosing a sponsorship level, you know exactly how your dollars will impact our mission:
Diamond PAWS $500 - Full intake vetting and a full month of day-to-day care, receive a monthly update on the dog you are sponsoring. Name on plaque on the kennel you sponsored.
Platinum PAWS $300 - Intake vaccines, spay or neuter, and microchip. Name plaque on the kennel you sponsored.
Golden PAWS $150 - Intake vaccinations and heartworm test.
Silver PAWS $100 - Basic vaccinations.
Bronze PAWS $50 - Treats and food.
Note: The breakdown above is for KC PAWS. Please remember, 10% of your donation goes to Midwest Transplant Network.

We are all about fun and community! Don’t want to participate in any of the events? Feel free to be a cheerleader for our walkers, runners, and competitors. You can participate in one, some, all, or be a cheerleader.

Starting in 2026, you can sign up to be a fundraiser for PCFF! What this means is when you register as a Big Dog, you are committing to help raise us raise funds and awareness for KC PAWS and Midwest Transplant Network by campaigning to your own friends and family. Here are the basics:
We ask those that sign up as Big Dogs for a fundraising commitment of $250. Your $70 registration fee will be waived.
When you sign up, you will be given a unique link your sponsors can use to donate.
You’re free to campaign as you wish, but we’ll set you up with some messaging and marketing materials to get you started.

We do love animals! However, we do not encourage bringing dogs as they can be unpredictable when meeting new friends. You can share your love with the adoptables of KC PAWS, who will be on site that day for pets and play.

The 2026 Paul Chaney Fitness Fundraiser

A 5K is a 3.2-mile route set up to walk or run at your own pace. We know everyone has different fitness goals and we want you to do your personal best. This year's route is an out-and-back on the Trolley Trail along Wornall Road. We will have markers set up for one- and two-mile pivots.

Yes! We will have water and Gatorade on-site for all events and throughout the 5K and 1-mile routes. These routes are staffed with volunteers ready and waiting with cold water and Gatorade. Water, Gatorade, and ice are sponsored by Cosentino’s Brookside Market.

The 2026 5K is set up as an out and back on the trolley trail along Wornall Road from 74th street to Meyer blvd.
